Assemble on a flat surface and check the screws now and then, tightening them if they loosen. Supervise playtime, especially with the pom-pom string, and replace the pom-pom if it wears out. Some sisal fibers may loosen with heavy use, which is normal. Every cat plays differently, so use at your own risk and let your cat scratch their way.
